How to buy?

1. Member subscription

The buyer must become a Ceramics Collector member in order to purchase the pieces presented on-line. The subscription is free and without commitment or obligation. The procedure is very easy and rapid. You are guaranteed the highest security concerning your personal information which will never be disclosed.

2. Reservation of pieces

If you wish to benefit from a period of reflection before buying a piece, you can click on "Reserve this piece". During 3 days, you will be the only person able to purchase the piece. If you decide to purchase the piece during this period, you can access the piece directly in the "members" area, in the "My reserved pieces" section. In order to buy it, you will just have to click on "Buy this piece" in the piece details section (form).

3. Buying procedure

On the piece detailed description screen, click on "Buy this piece" to access the following displays:

1st display : Your details

Please fill in your details, and click on "Next"

2nd display : Order form

Ceramics Collector gives you a summary of your order:

  • description of the piece
  • total price of the transaction, including transport charges
  • validation of the general terms of sale

In order to register your order, please click on "OK".

We will send you a confirmation of your order by e-mail, you then have to pay.

4. Payment

Ceramics Collector accepts the following methods of payment:

  • credit card (visa, eurocard/mastercard), through the CIC bank SSL secured payment system
  • cheque or euro-cheque in euro, made out to Ceramics Collector. Please write at the back of the cheque the piece reference number. Please send the cheque to Ceramics Collector, 9 rue de Gimbrett, F-67200 Strasbourg, France.

Concerning the payments by bank transfer or cheque, please be aware that your order will not be processed and the piece will not be sent to you until your order has been paid.

5. Transport and insurance

Ceramics Collector has established with its logistic partners preferential procedures and conditions of transport adapted to ceramic art works.

All the shipments are insured up to the value of the purchase ("ad valorem").

6. Total price of the transaction

The commission of CeramicsCollector is included in the price of the piece.

In addition to this price you just have to pay the transport and the insurance cost.

The transport cost depends on the object and your country. For instance, for a piece of 2kg, the price is :

  • For France : 15 euros
  • For the European Union : 25 euros
  • For the United State : 35 euros

The insurance cost is 1% of the object price, for instance 10 euros for a piece of 1000 euros.

Note : the possible customs duties and formalities are at the buyer's expense on delivery. It is the buyer's duty to check the terms of the importation of pieces in the country of delivery.

7. Retraction rights

Should you not be pleased, for any reason, with the piece you bought, you can return it within 15 days from the receipt date, if the piece is in the same condition as it was on delivery. You will be refunded in full, except for the transport, insurance and customs charges.

The charges linked to the returning of the piece are at your expense, and the pieces must be wrapped in their original package and shipped with an "ad valorem" insurance (up to the value of the piece).

8. Follow-up of the transaction

You can follow up your transactions in the "members" area in the "Follow-up of my purchases" section.
